Bahrain support for small and medium enterprises underlined

Minister of Industry and Commerce, Zayed bin Rashid Al-Zayani, highlighted the vital role played by small and medium enterprises in promoting the national economy.
This came as the minister today patronized the Fifth Small and Medium Enterprises Forum held under the theme (The importance of marketing and export of small and medium enterprises).
He told Bahrain News Agency (BNA), that the ministry focuses on the development of the small and medium businesses to enable them to contribute to supporting the national economy.
He pointed out the government's support for small and medium enterprises through the Free Trade Agreement between Bahrain and the United States, specialized projects promoted by Tamkeen or the under study project that aims to establish a bank to encourage export in cooperation with Bahrain Development Bank.
