
Environment Minister Khaled Fahmy left here on Friday winding up a three-day visit to France where he attended meetings on climate change.
Fahmy said he held several meetings with French officials, including French Environment Minister Segolene Royal, French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius, a US delegation and the Saudi petroleum minister.
The meetings tackled ways of coordinating stances in order to render efforts of combating climate change successful, as well as Egypt's regional and African role in this regard.
An International Climate Conference in Paris will be crucial in determining how far countries are committed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
