
Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab met on Monday with Tourism Minister Khaled Ramy and head of the Egyptian Federation of Chambers of Tourism Ilhamy Zayat to discuss ways to foster tourism industry.
During the meeting, Mahlab asserted that the government will support any decree that aims to boost the tourism sector in Egypt, adding that the government is willing to issue any required decree to reach such goal.
Zayat reviewed the chambers vision that aims to form a company that will manage the archaeological and tourist areas.
The meeting also pointed out at the allocation of 100 million pounds to save the stalled tour operators via the tourism investment fund.
