Egypt's cabinet discusses preparations for Sharm conference

The cabinet under Ibrahim Mahlab reviewed at the weekly meeting on Wednesday preparations for the economic conference to take place in Sharm el Sheikh in March.
The meeting also tackled the project of setting up a 2640 megawatt power plant operated by coal in Ayoun Moussa area.
The project will be carried out by Egypt's Holding Electrical Company and Al Nowais Investments company.
The UAE company will fund, design and build the station over two stages with each at capacity of 1,320.
