Hamdan bin Mohammed approves organisational structure of DED

Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has issued Executive Council Resolution No (10) of 2016 approving the organisational structure of the Department of Economic Development (DED) in Dubai.
The Resolution aims to further enable DED to implement its strategic plan and legally carry out its operations, in addition to improving the department’s customer service. The Resolution supports DED’s objectives of creating a high quality investment environment, raising economic growth and regulating economic activities in Dubai.
The Resolution authorises DED’s Director General to issue any decisions required to implement the provisions of the Resolution, including a decision approving the functions of DED’s organisational units.
The Resolution which annuls any other resolution that contradicts or challenges its provisions, is valid from the date of issuance and will be published in the Official Gazette.
