
A high-level Egyptian delegation will participate in the 23rd Arab Economic Forum, which kicks off Tuesday in Beirut.
Supply Minister Khaled Hanafy will be representing the prime minister to the event and his delegation will include President of the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce Ahmed el Wakil, former information minister Osama Haikal and a number of business people.
The Forum is organized by Al-Iktissad Wal-Aamal Group in cooperation with the Central Bank of Lebanon, the Association of Banks in Lebanon and the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group.
Egypt will be the guest of honor in this edition as a number of senior officials and leaders from the public and private sectors will participate in the forum and expound the latest developments in the economic and investment environment in the country, the group said in a statement.
