Prince Khalifa bin Salman al-Khalifa (R)
Manama - BNA

His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has affirmed the government's unwavering efforts to attract mega world companies through creating a stimulating investment atmosphere.
Speaking as he received at the Gudaibiya palace today the Coca Cola Company's Board Chairman and Managing Director Muhtar Kent, HRH Premier highlighted the government's constant keenness to create conditions and suitable atmosphere that promote the kingdom's status as an investment hub.
He welcomed mega world companies' tendency to expand the scope of their activities in Bahrain, which, he asserted, reflects their confidence in the Kingdom's economy, and in its ability to create a positive atmosphere that ensures the success of their operations.
HRH Premier stressed that the country's infrastructure achievements are the backbone of the economy, while investment is the means that enhances its growth and consolidates the government's policies to diversify the economic base, attract investments and promote Bahrain as a global financial centre for industrial, trade and service investments.
HRH Premier underlined the increasing importance of attracting foreign investments to the country, being among the priorities of the government, which, he said, urges it to carry on its efforts to create an outstanding and distinctive investment atmosphere based on an integrated legislative and regulatory system that enhances confidence in Bahrain's business climate.
He asserted the government's special interest in encouraging added-value investments that ensure sustainable growth for the national economy.
HRH Premier lauded Coca Cola's long experience and increasing commercial operations in the kingdom and across the world, which reflects the company's advanced status at all levels.
The Coca Cola Company's Board Chairman and CEO said the stability enjoyed by the kingdom had helped it attract more investments thanks to the sound policies of the government, led by HRH Premier, in hosting mega international companies and putting in place all success requirements that make Bahrain a favourable destination for investors.
Muhtar Kent expressed admiration of the kingdom's economic and investment development, praising the support provided to international companies by the government, under HRH Premier's chairmanship.
