The chairman of the Irbid Chamber of Commerce, Mohammad Al-Shoha, on Tuesday discussed with the senior Trade Commissioner at the Embassy of Canada in Jordan, Jean-Philippe Tachdjian, ways of further boosting bilateral trade.
During his visit to the Irbid city, Tachdjian pointed out to the trade deficit between the two sides and called for more mutual exchange in the commercial sphere.
He said Canadian exports to Jordan amount to $68 million, while imports from the Kingdom amount to $44 million. He said Jordanian and Canadian experts will have more meetings to invigorate the commercial activities and increase Jordanian exports to Canada.
Al-Shoha expressed the Chamber's readiness to strengthen the economic bonds between the two countries.
