
Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Saleh, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy for Foreign Trade and Industry Affairs, and Andrea Moltrasio, President of the Supervisory Board of Italian Bank "UBI Banca", have discussed ways of expansion of Italian investments in the UAE market.
This came during a meeting held on the sidelines of the visit of the President of the Supervisory Board of Italian Bank to open a representative office in Dubai. Liborio Stellino, Ambassador of Italy to the UAE was also present.
The meeting was attended by a number of officials from the Ministry of Economy. The Italian side was represented by Rossella Leidi, Deputy General Manager, Chief Business Officer of UBI Banca, Luigi Landoni, Chief Representative of UBI Banca Representative Office in Dubai, and Umberto Bernardo, Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Italy to the UAE.
The meeting reviewed the investment opportunities available in the country and focused on strengthening cooperation in the Small and Medium Enterprise, SME, sector.
