French Ambassador to Egypt Andre Baran has opened a new visa application center in Alexandria.
The opening of the center was a sign of growing economic and trade cooperation between Egypt and France, Baran told MENA on Thursday.
The ambassador noted that the number of visa applications in 2013 hit 47,000 against 39,000 in 2011.
He said that opening the center would further help bolster bilateral relations, especially in the economic, tourism, cultural, and many humanitarian domains.
