
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi received Minister of Industry, Energy and Tourism of Spain José Manuel Soria.
The Spanish official asserted that his country will review a number of mutual projects in the coming period.
This came on the sidelines of the Egypt Economic Development Conference (EEDC) on Saturday in Sharm el Sheikh, Presidential Spokesman Alaa Youssef said.
During the meeting, Soria delivered King Felipe of Spain and Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy Brey's greetings.
Meanwhile, Sisi expressed his appreciation for Soria’s speech during the EEDC in which he asserted his country’s support to Egypt in its war against terrorism and its efforts to achieve prosperity and stability.
The president underlined that there is a number of fields that Spain can invest in in Egypt including renewable energy, railways and maritime transport fields.
