
Yemeni Prime Minister Khaled Bahah met here today with World Bank (WB)'s Office Director in Yemen Wael Zakout.
During the meeting, they discussed cooperation aspects and ways to develop them in various sectors.
The meeting touched on the development projects that are currently implemented by the bank in Yemen and its role in supporting the government's efforts to get the economy moving.
The two sides also discussed mechanisms to benefit from the pledges of donors in establishing the development projects that reflect positively on the lives of citizens in the short, medium and long term.
The meeting also dealt with the cooperation in the technical field related to the development of economic mechanisms and in particular with regard to supporting the economic committee to be formed according to the Peace and National Partnership Agreement.
