
The base metals prices on the London Metal Exchange (LME) closed lower on Monday.
The U.S. dollar index run at a high level on Monday, weighed on the metals prices.
The three-month unofficial copper price dropped 48 U.S. dollars, or 0.92 percent, to 5,193 U.S. dollars per tonne.
The three-month unofficial aluminium price lost 26 U.S. dollars, or 1.59 percent, to 1,606 U.S. dollars a tonne.
The three-month unofficial lead price lost 21 U.S. dollars, or 1.23 percent, to 1,689 U.S. dollars a tonne.
Besides, the three-month unofficial zinc price lost 35 U.S. dollars, or 1.81 percent, to 1,901 U.S. dollars a tonne.
The three-month unofficial nickel price lost 200 U.S. dollars, or 1.81 percent, to 10,875 U.S. dollars a tonne.
The three-month unofficial tin price lost 350 U.S. dollars, or 2.12 percent, to 16,125 U.S. dollars a tonne.
