Total investment amount made in Turkey is expected to reach 319 billion Turkish lira (TL, 136 bln euros) by the end of 2012, as Anatolia news agency reports. The investment amount will increase 12.27% to 358.2 billion TL (152.8 bln euros) in 2013, according to financial program of 2013. 289.9 billion TL (123.7 bln euros) of the investments will be made by private sector, while public sector will make 68.3 billion TL (29.15 bln euros) of investment. Private sector will invest 119.3 billion TL (50.9 bln euros) in manufacturing industry and 78.1 billion TL (33.3 bln euros) in transportation sector in 2013. Public sector will make the highest investment in transportation sector with 21.8 billion TL (9.3 billion euros) next year. It will also invest 10.4 billion TL (4.43 bln euros) in education and 7 billion TL (2,98 bln euros) in agriculture.
