The sales during the first version of Abu Dhabi Electronics Shopper (ADES 2013), the premier consumer electronics show, are expected to reach Dh 25 million by end of the show as more visitors are projected to come to the show held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC). The deals are per Sunday evening were Dh 20 million and we expect the sales transactions to hike Dh 5 million more today with more than 12,000 visitors expected to rush to ADNEC to benefit from the last day discount and offers,\"Antoine George, Dome Exhibtion Managing Director, organisers of the ADES 2013 told Gulf News. The number of visitors will be up to the expectations with an average number of 15,000 per day over the five days. Due to the unexpected demand on electronics, retailers have booked for next year and the area of the 2014 expo will be more than doubled,\" said George, noting that some retailers had already booked for next year and they reserved double the area of this year. That is a sign of the growing demand and the very good purchase power,\" said Doney Cyril, Exhibitions Director of ADES2013. ADES2013 is organised by Abu Dhabi-based Dome Exhibitions, from March 14 to 18.
