Australia\'s trade deficit narrowed to 178 million AU dollars (186.24 million U.S. dollars) in February, according to data released on Wednesday by the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS). The result was less than economists\' forecasts of a 1 billion AU dollar deficit. The ABS said the balance on goods and services was a deficit of 178 million AU dollars in February, a fall of 1,037 million AU dollars on the deficit in January. Exports of goods and services rose 3.0 percent to 25,642 million AU dollars in February while imports of goods and services fell 1.0 percent to 25,820 million AU dollars in the month.
