Azhar imam renowns economist review sukuk draft law

Al-Azhar Grand Imam Dr Ahmed el-Tayyeb met here Monday with former prime minister and renowned economist Abdel-Aziz Hegazi. During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the economic situation in Egypt and the bill on Islamic bonds or, Sukuk, which was referred to Al-Azhar\'s Senior Scholars Authority. The meeting also took up the economic conditions in Egypt and ways to get out of the economic crisis.
