
The Bahrain e-Government Authority took part in high-level workshop themed “Transfer and Adaptation of Innovative Practices for Improved Public Service Delivery in Least Developed Countries (LDCs).The United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) organised the event on March 17-19 in Adis Ababa, Ethiopia. e-Government Authority Advisor Firas Jaafar Ahmed attended the workshop, which was inaugurated by Ethiopian Federal Public Service Minister Mokhtar Khidr, in the presence of 30 ministers and over 2oo participants from different African countries.Mr. Ahmed stressed the keenness of the wise leadership on promoting cutting edge technologies to develop the role of public administration and dissminate transparency in the provision of Government-led services for services and residents.He commended the efforts of the Ethiopian Government and the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA), UNDP and UNDESA.He also invited all the participants to visit the Kingdom of Bahrain and get an update on oys e-Government advanced experience.
