
Transportation Minister and Acting Chief Executive of the Economic Development Board Kamal bin Ahmed took part today in a discussion session during the annual World Economic Forum, held from January 22 to 25 in Davos under the theme "The Reshaping of the World: Consequences for Society, Politics and Business'"He said economic stability is one of the main factors to boost regional stability in the long run and develop more tolerant and pluralistic societies. "The private sector is the main catalyst of growth and the governments have the responsibility to create a suitable climate for private sector's companies to help them thrive. Economic development plays a pivotal role in achieving long-term stability," he said addressing the session which brought together policy-makers from across the Arab World to tackle key regional issues.
