Industrialists and business managers must modernize their production tools and upgrade their companies to increase the national production and reduce the country’s dependency on foreign countries, said Thursday in Blida Minister of Industry, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and Investment Promotion Cherif Rahmani. Chairing the opening of the fourth preparatory regional meeting of the national industrial production conference, in the presence of UGTA’s Secretary General Abdelmadjid Sidi Said, representatives of employers’ organizations and heads of industrial and financial public institutions, Rahmani particularly urged the industrials and business managers to \" contact the National Agency for SMEs Development (ANDPME),\" which has received a \"budget of more than US$3 billion for the of modernization of industrial production’s national tool.\" \"There are no industries that do not change and innovate,\" said Rahmani. This meeting, which grouped together 13 provinces from the centre of Algeria, is the last of a series of regional meetings which were held during January and February across the country.
