
Minister of Minerals Kamal Abdul-Latief has briefed Mr. Shang the Deputy of Chinese Minister of Commerce currently visiting the country on the investment opportunities in the minerals sector in the country, lauding in this regard the Chinese companies contribution in the development of the sector in the country. In statement following his meeting with the Deputy of Chinese Ministr of Commerce Saturday at the Korenthia Hotel , the Minister of Minerals described the meeting as positive announcing a meeting with the visiting Chinese delegation at the Ministry of Minerals in the presence of the Minister of Finance and National Economy Ali Mahmoud Abdul-Rasoul during which a number of investment project would be presented, adding that the Chinese Minister has asserted readiness of his country to participate in the development of the minerals sector in the country , and encourages his countrys companies to invest in the Sudan\'s minerals sector beside their readiness to train caders in the minerals and geological field in the ministry.
