
India said Tuesday the amount of commercial exchange between Kuwait and India has reached USD 17.64 billion for fiscal year 2012-13, including the amount of Kuwait oil exports to India. Hoti Lal, Second Secretary at the Indian Embassy in Kuwait, made the remarks to KUNA on the sideline of visit by an Indian economic delegation to Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The diplomat said such visit was to bolster relations between the two sides, and expand cooperation between Indian and Kuwaiti companies. Lal added that the delegation includes representatives of 13 companies that specialize in various fields, like technology, energy, construction, and food. For his part, Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry Director General Rabah Abdulrahman Al-Rabah said the visit by the delegation aimed at exploring a mechanism to boost bilateral relations
