Danat hotels and resorts unveil expansion

Abu Dhabi\'s Danat Hotels \'&\' Resorts has touted its new initiatives and expansions - the Al Raha Beach Hotel extension and the Q3 2013 introduction of its Danat Resident and 200-room Hotel Apartments and the Danat Jebel Dhanna Resort, during its participation in the International Tourism Bourse (ITB Berlin) which runs between 6-10 March. The upscale hotel division of the National Corporation for Tourism and Hotels (NCT\'&\'H), already commenced expansion at the 30-chalet resort in Al Raha Beach to add 144 rooms and suites and 3 new restaurants, Walid Nicolas Harouni, Hotels Division Director, told WAM. The Danat Residence and Dhafra Beach Hotel, both to open soon, will add 200 deluxe furnished apartments and 100 rooms respectively. At ITB Berlin 2013, Danat Hotels \'&\' Resorts held more than 65 meetings with representatives of German and European travel and tourism agencies. The group focused on relations with online booking companies as the internet is today the most popular and best booking tool, he noted.
