Faced with rapid growth in construction activity on the back of its programme to host the 2022 FIFA World Cup along with the development in transport and educational infrastructure, Qatar’s construction industry is set to maintain its top position among the region’s best performing markets. Business Monitor Index (BMI) forecasts a 9.5 per cent year-on-year sectoral growth for the country estimating construction and energy projects worth $150 billion in the pipeline, which are being implemented to support Qatar National Vision 2030. In light of the growth of construction industry in Qatar, Danube Group, the Dubai based company announced the opening of another showroom in Doha, Qatar, in association with Dyarco. The showroom was inaugurated by Sheikh Badr Al Wahab, Partner, Dyarco, Ullatil Achu, General Manager, Dyarco and Anis Sajan, Managing Director of Danube Group. “It is a proud moment for us to open another showroom in Qatar. Our existing showroom generates huge traffic from the customers in the industrial areas, however to accommodate the overwhelming demand of the customers in the retail area, we opened a new commercial place to showcase our ever-expanding product line. Spread across 5,000 square feet, the new showroom is situated in the heart of the city at Souq Najma, Doha that has developed a reputation as a centre for excellence. With the launch of the new showroom in the retail area, the designers, carpenters and contractors will now be able to view the extensive range melamine MDF, wood, timber, structure steel, ceiling, gypsum boards, sanitary, hardware, aluminium cladding, ceramic tiles & fire retardant products in a convenient location. “We are pleased to partner with the Danube Group yet again for the opening of a new showroom.
