Donors pledges to Darfur amounts to more than $3.7bn

The Qatari Deputy Prime Minister and State Minister for Cabinet\'s Affairs Ahmed bin Abdallah Al-Mahmoud has announced that the total pledges of the International Donor Conference on Rehabilitation and Development in Darfur amounted to 3,696,659,100 dollars including the pledges of the Government of Sudan. This declaration of the pledges came within the final communiqué which was read by Al-Mahmoud at the concluding session of the conference.
