Egypt pumped 100 million cubic feet of natural gas to Jordan on a daily basis, according to a well-place Jordanian source. The source told Jordanian newspaper Al Arab El Youm of Thursday that Egypt increases the amounts of gas to the kingdom every day. Egypt's gas supplies to Jordan hit 40 million cubic feet per day a month ago but now it was raised to hit 100 million cubic feet a day, the source said. The gas exports may increase soon in view of ongoing talks between Jordanian Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Alaa al-Bataynah and Egyptian officials, it said. Egypt and Jordan signed an agreemnt in December, 2011, under which the price of exporting gas to the kingdom was changed.
