The benchmark index EGX30 lost 0.3 per cent at the end of the trading session on Monday after containing its heavier morning loss. The market was negatively affected by armed attacks on Egyptian guards along the Israeli-Sinai border on Sunday evening. Out of 161 trading stocks on the day, 47 gained while 96 lost in value. Earlier in the morning, the main index was 0.9 per cent down before reducing its losses gradually over the day The broader index70 and EGX100 lost 0.72 and 0.54 per cent respectively. From:Alahram
