Dubai - Arabstoday

Emirates NBD, a leading bank in the region, has announced a strategic partnership with M H Alshaya, a leading international retail franchise operator. The partnership now offers more choice for the bank’s card holders to redeem their Plus Points by including a wide range of global retail brands operated by Alshaya in the UAE. “Loyalty programmes are extremely significant today, as customers continuously seek initiatives that enable them to get greater value for money,” said R Sivaram, Senior Vice President and Card Business Head, Emirates NBD. “While Emirates NBD Plus Points is already established as one of the best loyalty programmes in the region, offering attractive reward options, evergreen points and incredible flexibility, we are constantly trying to enhance the cardholder experience by partnerships with reputable retail groups to widen the choice of what they can redeem through Plus Points. Our strategic partnership with Alshaya, who operate some of the best international retail brands in the region, reinforces our commitment to keeping up the high standards of our best-in-class loyalty programme.” “At Alshaya we operate a wide range of exciting international retail brands, that provide consumers in the region with great shopping experiences across different sectors including Fashion and Footwear, Food, Health and Beauty and Home Furnishing,” said Hilary Baker, Vice President, Corporate Communications, M H Alshaya. “We are pleased to partner with the card loyalty programme at Emirates NBD and are delighted that our partnership can add value to Emirates NBD card holders.” Plus Points, the loyalty programme specific to Emirates NBD Credit Cards, allows cardholders to earn up to two points on card spend (depending on the credit card), which can then be redeemed for an extensive range of gift voucher options across categories including travel, entertainment, fashion and lifestyle, jewellery and watches, electronics, daily shopping and malls. Through the partnership with Alshaya, Emirates NBD card holders can now redeem their Plus Points at some of the world’s most recognised brands, including H&M, Debenhams, Next, Starbucks, Pottery Barn and Mothercare. Card holders will have the option of redeeming Dhs100, Dhs300 or Dhs500 from their accumulated Plus Points at these new retail outlets under the redemption programme.    From gulftoday
