The Federal National Council, or FNC, will discuss at its 13th session of the first ordinary meeting of the 15th legislative chapter here on Tuesday the federal draft law on the establishment of Emirates Post group, and raise questions to the representatives of the government. The session will be presided over by the FNC speaker Mohammmed Ahmed Al Murr. Member of the Council Musabbah Bel Ajeed Al Ketbi will ask two questions to Shaikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, on exemption of Emirati post-graduate students, studying abroad from the mandatory presence in case of emergency circumstances in the countries where they are studying. The other question will be directed to Humaid Mohammed Obaid Al Qattami, Minister of Education who is also Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Federal Government Department’s Human Resources Department, on the surveillance on entities taking part in Career Exhibitions held in the country. Member of the house Ahmed Mohammed Rahama Al Shamsi will ask Mohammed Abdullah Al Gargawi, Minister for Cabinet Affairs, question on the setting up of a federal medicinal and food watchdog authority, while member of the council Mohammed Butti Al Qubaisi will raise a question to Obaid Humaid Al Tayer, Minister of State for Financial Affairs, about adding the allowances in the recent pay increment to the basic salary of the Emirati employees. Member Yaqoub Ali Al Naqabi will ask the minister of state for financial affairs a question on the control surveillance on branches and Islamic windows affiliated to the traditional commercial banks. The Council will ask Saqr Ghobash Saeed Ghobash, Labour Minister, two questions, which will come from member Marwan bin Ghalita on the measures taken by the ministry regarding the recovery of the bank deposit funds of the individual establishments which are backed up by the institutions and funds dedicated to support youth enterprises and localisation of jobs. Member Ali Essa Al Nuaimi will ask a question about the support and encouragement of Emiratis to work and provide them with opportunity to get jobs.
