France confirmed its objective to bring the deficit to 3% of GDP by 2013, which was part of the revisioned budget plan approved by the government before the summer, French President Francois Hollande said. Hollande said it was the country\'s most significant effort in the past three decades. The president also said France will cut over 10 billion euros in public expenditure in the 2013 budget, except for debts and pensions.
