A session of talks was held here today at the seat of GCC Mission between the GCC states and New Zealand. The GCC side was chaired by Saudi Deputy Foreign Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, as Saudi Arabia is currently holding the GCC presidency. The meeting was attended by Bahrain’s Foreign Minister Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, and GCC Secretary General Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani. The New Zealand sided was headed by Foreign Minister Murray McCauley. During the meeting, they discussed areas of cooperation between the GCC countries and New Zealand in all fields, especially in the fields of economy, trade, education. Regional and international issues of common interest were also discussed.
