Group of 20 to focus on job creation, economic growth

Group of 20 finance ministers said Saturday the group\'s top priorities are jobs, economic growth and fighting global tax evasion. G20 ministers and heads of state, meeting in Moscow Friday and Saturday, said in a statement they have agreed \"our short-term priority is to offer new jobs and to improve the economic growth, ITAR-Tass reported. The ministers asked that the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development create a report on developing a global model for multilateral, automatic exchange of tax information. The report will be presented at upcoming meetings in Washington. \"We shall make an automated exchange of information accessible for all countries, including countries with low revenues, and we shall try to support them in obtaining the potential of the kind,\" the statement said. British Chancellor George Osborne said the G20 was making an \"important step towards a global tax system that is fair and fit for purpose for the modern economy,\" the BBC reported.
