President Abdo Rabbo Mansour Hadi met here on Saturday with Director General of the Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) Abdul Wahab Ahmed al-Badr. During the meeting, al-Badr said that KFAED has made a loan of $54 million to Yemen, which aims to link rural areas and villages to the urban centers and cities through rural roads in most of the governorates as well as providing the required services to oversee the implementation and support the institutional capacities. He stressed that the Fund continues to support Yemen in other areas in order to enhance the social and economic development of the Yemeni society. The President valued the great efforts of the KFAED to bolster the development projects in the country as well as the Kuwaiti support for Yemen in different situations. Hadi talked about the difficult situation Yemen is going through currently that needs friendly and brotherly support to Yemen to overcome the existing challenges.
