The second annual Intermat Middle East commenced on Monday at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (Adnec) in UAE, with an official exhibition opening and tour led by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Public Works. The region’s largest exhibition for construction equipment, machinery and materials welcomed senior executives from some of the biggest names in the construction world that include: Liebherr, Sennebogen, Miller UK, WireCo World, Erkat, Terex Finlay and many more, all of which participated in the first Investment and Innovation in Construction Summit held by the Ministry of Public Works (MoPW), UAE and the Department of Municipal Affairs (DMA) for Abu Dhabi. Today, representatives from the MoPW and DMA provided a comprehensive analysis on the current legal framework and requirements of the country that provide the foundation to build a prosperous UAE.
