Higher labor costs hit South Korean firms in China

Growing labor costs in China in recent years have weakened the competitive edge of most South Korean companies operating in the country, a poll showed Tuesday. According to the survey of the 201 South Korean companies by the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), 61.2 percent of the respondents said a sharp rise in labor costs has dampened their competition.
