Housing joy for Bahrain defence force affiliates

Under the patronage of the Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, a ceremony to distribute housing units\' documents and contracts to BDF affiliates who benefited from housing projects was held today, marking the anniversary of March 16th, a national occasion in which BDF succeeded in restoring security and order across the kingdom, in cooperation with security forces from the Interior Ministry, National Guard and the National Security Agency and with the support of brotherly GCC countries. Upon arrival, the BDF Commander-in-Chief was welcomed by the Chief of Staff Major-General Shaikh Daij bin Salman Al Khalifa, Assistant Chief of Staff for Logistics and Catering Major-General Ahmed Youssef Al-Ruwaie and a number of senior BDF officers. After some holy Quran verses were recited, the Director of Logistics and Catering delivered a statement in which he extended sincere thanks to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa. He lauded the wise leadership\'s constant interest to carry out development projects and ensure the requirements of decent living for the citizens, taking pride in such a glorious national occasion in which the values of dedication and sacrifices were manifested so as to safeguard the homeland, led by HM the King. He pointed out that BDF\'s housing projects testifies to BDF\'s senior officials, led by the Commander-in-Chief, the Minister of State for Defence Affairs Lieutenant-General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulla Al Khalifa and Chief of Staff Major-General Shaikh Daij bin Salman Al Khalifa to provide decent living and housing for the affiliates of the BDF. Then, one beneficiary made a statement in which he extended heartfelt thanks to HM the King, the Supreme Commander, for his kind gesture which filled the hearts of all BDF affiliates with joy, thanking the BDF Commander-in-Chief for patronising the ceremony. After that, Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa presented the beneficiaries with documents and contracts of their housing units, extending sincere thanks and appreciation to HM the King for such a noble gesture. He said that BDF\'s service projects are part of its efforts to ensure comprehensive and integrated services, including decent housing, to its affiliates, in line with the directives of the wise leadership in this regard. He also congratulated the beneficiaries, affirming the BDF\'s General Command to provide all necessary support and care for BDF affiliates who, he asserted, are a source of pride for the nation.
