Industry minister tours hypermarkets and hotels

Industry and Commerce Minister Dr. Hassan Fakhro today toured Lulu hypermarket in Hidd, Movenpic Hotel in Muharraq and City Centre Mall to the availability of food and consumers goods required and get update on the latest local market developments The minister was briefed on the availability of goods and products that are high in demand by consumers, urging all requirements to be provided under one roof at reasonable prices. Dr. Fakhro was updated on promotions involving many items and consumer goods. In this regard, Regional Director of Lulu Hypermarket Juzer Roopwala confirmed that promotions would continue as per the a program scheduled for this year. Dr. Fakhro visited Movenpic Hotel in Muharraq, where he was received by general manager Mr. Heinz. The Minister stressed the government’s keenness on promoting the hospitality sector, being the cornerstone of tourism industry in Bahrain.
