Iranian automaker mulling larger exports to Ukraine

\"Initial marketing assessments to export this number of Samands to Ukraine have been done and IKCO will soon start sending SE and LX models of Samand as well as Soren ELX to this country,\" IKCO Deputy CEO for Exports Abdolazim Sadian told reporters at Kiev International SIA 2012 Motor Show Ukraine is considered as one of IKCO\'s first international markets. IKCO started its activity in Ukraine\'s market in 2005. The Deputy CEO referred to IKCO\'s appropriate after-sales services to Samand owners as one of the car\'s merits which has made it an automobile of choice in Ukraine, and mentioned that currently 25 sales agent and after-sales service centers are active in that country. High quality and safety of Samand and its good performance in Ukraine have brought its into the center of public attention, promising a bright future for IKCO in the market. Besides Ukraine, IKCO exports Samand to other CIS countries like Russia and Belarus, where it has been warmly welcomed too. Unison, an IKCO production plant in Belarus, has supplied two thousand Samands to the customers so far.
