Senate President, Taher al-Masri, on Monday discussed with Managing Director for the Middle East and Southern Neighborhood at the European External Action Service (EEAS), Hugues Mingarelli, EU-Jordanian ties and Jordan’s socioeconomic and political reforms. Al-Masri stressed the Kingdom’s keenness on holding fair and transparent parliamentary elections as a major step in the overall reform drive. The EU official hailed Jordan’s efforts to bring about comprehensive reform in various domains. Mingarelli commended services the Kingdom is providing to an influx of Syrian refugees on its territory.
