The grant is part of the funding Kuwait has pledged to Yemen in the 4th Friends of Yemen meeting held in New York last September. It aims to rebuild the areas ruined during the violent acts erupted in 2011 through carrying out infrastructure and service projects in governorates of Abyan, Aden, Lahj, Sana\'a , the capital Sana\'a, Hajjah, Shabwa and Taiz.
