Kuwaiti, US commerce officials meet

Kuwaiti Ministry of Commerce and Industry Secretary Abdulaziz Al-Khaldi met the U.S. Chamber of Commerce vice president and chief operating officer David Chavern on Wednesday. The meeting discussed investment opportunities in Kuwait in the light of its new foreign investment law, and the ins and outs of any eventual U.S. plans to invest in the country. For his part, Chavern stressed the importance of scheduling a visit for U. S. businessmen to Kuwait, to learn more of their privileges and to exchange their views on the new law.
