Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Omurbek Babanov met with the Chairman of the Executive Board of Turkish Airlines (THY) Hamdi Topcu and other officials at Istanbul\'s Ataturk International Airport on Monday. Speaking to reporters following their meeting, Babanov said that Turkish Airlines officials and he discussed various projects, including one on turning Bishkek and Osh airports into a hub. We talked about Turkish students in Kyrgyzstan and Kyrgyz students in Turkey and their problems. We talked about the costs of flights for students, Babanov said. THY makes crucial contributions to boost relations between Turkey and Kyrgyzstan, Babanov noted. We want to sell energy to Turkey. Energy production in Kyrgyzstan is at a high level and is very cheap. Costs of energy in Kyrgyzstan are very low and this encourages foreign investments in Kyrgyzstan. I will speak with giant companies (in Turkey) regarding incentives for investors in Kyrgyzstan, Babanov also said. Prime Minister Babanov arrived in Turkey to attend the World Economic Forum (WEF) and hold official talks.
