Latest round of regional comprehensive economic partnership negotiations end with small progress

The latest round of negotiations for a regional free trade agreement, known as the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), ended with minor but significant progress, the trade ministry here said Friday. In the third round of negotiations held in Kuala Lumpur, the participating countries agreed to create four separate working groups dealing with competition, intellectual property rights, dispute settlement and technological cooperation, according to the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy
