Safdi said on Wednesday that his country is willing to remove the obstacles on the way of expansion of economic cooperation with Iran. Appreciating Iran\'s positive stance toward the Lebanese government and nation, Safdi studied ways to expand cooperation in the field of technology, engineering, dam construction and electricity with Nikzad. He promised to do his utmost to get the government\'s approval to help implement the agreements already signed between the two countries. Nikzad, for his part, expressed Iran\'s readiness to help Lebanon build Power plant and dams. Pointing to Iran\'s techno-engineering know-how, he said that Iran is ready to transfer relevant expertise to Lebanon. The Iranian minister arrived in Beirut on Tuesday to attend the plenary session of Iran-Lebanon Preparatory High Cooperation Commission.
