Hamim Samuri, Malaysia’s Deputy Minister of International Trade and Industry visited the Port Klang Free Zone (PKFZ) International Trade and Halal Industry Development Center in the morning of April 1, 2014. He was accompanied by nearly thirty high-level officials including managerial personnel of PKFZ, port office of PKFZ as well as management from Malaysia International Wholesale (China) Centre. During this visit, Xie Guanlong, Chief Executive Officer of PKFZ delivered a speech warmly welcoming the visitors. He detailed the center and said great progress has been made in the development of PKFZ under the support of the Malaysian government, and believed more would come in the future. Later, Xia Baowen, chief business operator of PKFZ gave a detailed introduction on PKFZ’s International Trade and Halal Industry Development Center. He also briefed the deputy minister on the history, latest development of related programs as well as its prospect. Besides, he made requests and suggestions to the deputy minister on the issue of enterprises’s entry into the PKFZ.
