Mobile phone imports reach $408.387m

The mobile phone imports into the country increased by 4.06 per cent during the first seven months of the current year over the same period of last year. The imports of mobile phone into the country during July-January (2012-13) were recorded at $408.387 million against the imports of $392.436 million during July-January (2011-12), according to the data of Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS). Similarly the mobile phone imports into the country during the month of January 2013 increased by 5.04pc and 5.8pc when compared to the imports of January 2012 and Dec 2012 respectively.
