The Ministry of Environment and Water (MoEW) has launched a training management program designed to achieve ISO 10015:1999 standard certification. The two crucially important features of ISO 10015:1999 include linking training investment to organizational performance and requiring training to be based on pedagogical and organizational learning Principles. Director of Human Resources at MoEW, Abdul Rehman Bu Haroun, said implementing the ISO 10015 standard will contribute to improving the outcome of training, ensuring efficient budgeting, enhancing the understanding of employees\' training needs and linking training needs to strategic, operational and individual needs. The ISO project which provides guidelines to assist organizations and their managers when addressing issues related to trainings is aimed at enhancing employees satisfaction with training and improving productivity. MoEW\'s ISO 10015 project will run to September 2013.
