Turkish Minister of Customs and Trade Hayati Yazici said Montenegro officials wished more Turkish entrepreneurs to invest in their country. Yazici arrived in Montenegro on September 19 in order to pay an official visit and hold talks with Prime Minister Milo Cukanovic. Trading volume between the two countries was about 45 million USD, which is a low level, according to the data of 2012, said the minister, adding that officials in Montenegro wished to increase this amount. Pointing out that some Turkish entrepreneurs had investments in tourism, trade and industry in Montenegro, Yazici added, \"Montenegro follows and praises success of Turkish businessmen in the country, thus wishes more investors here. Officials\' confidence in Turkish entrepreneurs is a means of insurance in Montenegro\'s privatization method.\" Yazici noted that Montenegro is carrying out EU candidacy process, adding that the businessmen who had the chance of investing in Montenegro could obtain big benefits. Meanwhile, free trading, agreements on tourism and customs, and prevention of double taxation between the two countries offer various conveniences to investors.
