President Mohamed Morsi called on Egyptian and Sudanese businessmen to speed up establishing joint projects in various fields, mainly in infrastructure projects. \"All issues were resolved and the political will was realized to achieve economic integration among Egypt, Sudan and Libya,\" Morsi said during a meeting with the Egyptian-Sudanese Business Council. Morsi hailed as important step the establishment of an Egyptian city in the Sudanese industrial zone to manufacture leather products, calling for boosting industrial cooperation in the domain of mineral wealth in border areas. \"The doors are now open for businessmen as all obstacles that were facing them were removed,\" he said. Morsi underlined the necessity of exchanging expertise between Egypt and Sudan in all spheres. For his part, Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir said he has confidence that Egypt will restore its distinguished role in the regional and African arenas.
