Over 7,000 direct recruitment intentions made by companies in Tunis

Over 7,000 direct recruitment intentions were made by national and foreign private economic companies on the Month of Employment and Regional Development organised last September 12-30, under the keynote:"Employment, the Responsibility of All." During a joint news conference he held with Regional Development Minister Abderrazek Zouari, in the presence of concerned business managers, Vocational Training and Employment Minister Said Aidi said that the interim Government had undertaken reforms at the level of vocational training structures coming under the National Employment and Self Employment Agency. These reforms sought to help these structures meet  the job market's needs, he added, noting that "full employment" is possible but "risks still persist." For his part, Mr. Abderrazek Zouari said that "each region should become a cross-border employment area with all the attributes of a job-generator development." The total number of unemployed people to be recruited in the public sector is expected to reach 34,000 by the end of this year.
